ImgAreaSelect 0.5

As promised, I’m releasing a new version of the imgAreaSelect plugin.

The plugin code has undergone significant reorganization to make it behave properly in some extreme cases — for example, when the image is placed in a scrollable div. I’ve also added a few features that were frequently requested (like an option to set the parent element).

    Hello,

    Thanks for the awesome plugin. Great job :)

    However I face some problems on Safari 3.1.2 (Windows)
    The upper side of the image is not selectable. Here is a screenshot :

    I checked the mentioned live example at :
    http://www.webmotionuk.co.uk/jquery/image_upload_crop.php

    It rocks on Safari. But it uses 0.3 version.

    Thanks for letting me know. I can’t test it on Safari at this moment, but I was able to reproduce the problem with another WebKit-based browser. Expect a fix in the next few days.
