Version 0.5.1 of imgAreaSelect is out. There was a bug in version 0.5 that caused the selection area to be positioned incorrectly in WebKit-based browsers, and the new version fixes it — so go and grab it if you want your image cropping (or tagging, or whatever) application to work fine in Safari, Konqueror, and the world famous Google Chrome (and a couple others).
By the way, remember the PHP image cropping tutorial I mentioned in my last post? WebMotionUK just published an updated version of it.
Hello sir,
I will touch on “php-jquery-image-upload-and-crop-v11″.
I ask if it is possible to make the following changes:
Have the opportunity to enter a name in a text box and then named “thumb_image_name.
Thank you in advance
@eamon: As I understand, you want to be able to specify the name of the cropped image/thumbnail in the form — this needs to be implemented on server side and is beyond the scope of the plugin. You might try contacting the people at WebMotionUK, they wrote the “PHP and jQuery image upload and crop” tutorial.
